.Doug Ford is a historic failure. Can't get houses built. Can't get transpo built. Can't prevent thousands of COVID deaths in long-term care. Can't even put beer in corner stores without massive, unnecessary bribes. Failure, failure, failure.

Alexandra Amaro was killed biking home on Dec. 2, 2020. She was only 23. A bike lane could have saved her. Her family has written a letter to Premier Doug Ford and Transit Minister Prabmeet Sarkaria pleading they stop attacking cyclists who just want to get home safe and focus

I took a break from this IG account, but seeing all the "spandex-crowd" comments from cycling haters has reminded me why I started it. The overwhelming majority of people cycling in Toronto are just trying to get from A-B in a safe and efficient way. We're all just people.

Check your inbox: itโ€™s @cityhallwatcher #305! Doug Ford says only about 1% of Toronto bikes to work. But Doug, thatโ€™s not true. A charty look at what the data tells us about how many people cycle commute. toronto.cityhallwatcher.com/p/chw305

Ripping out lanes doesnโ€™t add up ๐Ÿคท: in these communities, thousands of new homes (provincial policy โœ…) built in buildings w/ little or no car parking (smart โœ…) have thousands of new bike parking spots - all synchronized with new safe, well designed & located cycle lanes ๐Ÿšฒ

In summary, Ford's bike lane removals will, according to a new City Hall report: - Cost $75 million in direct costs and sunk costs. - Make traffic much, much worse for at least nine months during construction to remove lanes - Have minimal long-term impact on car travel times.

Dear Ontario Premier Doug Ford (Doug Ford), My 10-year-old son was identified with a need last year and had to change public schools. I now bike him 2.2km to school in the mornings and he bikes home alone. We use the 8-year-old Bloor Street bike lanes which make the roads

My Toronto Star column: Doug Ford is on a bike lane witch hunt and making magical promises. Itโ€™s a distraction. What he really wants is for you to pay no attention to the housing policy failure behind the curtain. Ontario housing starts are down big. thestar.com/opinion/contriโ€ฆ
