Sooooo... we've got some NEWS. Don't panic, it doesn't involve a new deal with the supermarkets or an immanent big money buyout. But it does involve a whole heap of beer, food, events and tunes down at our place on Sat 25 & Sun 26 May for our 5th BIRTHDAY CELEBRATION!

We're proud to have got here, but we couldn't have done it without the support of our friends and family in beer and beyond. Collaboration and community are central to what we do, so our 5th Birthday will involve as many of our pals & previous collaborators as possible...

First up; the beer! As you might have spotted, our great pal @BeersManchester has agreed to bring a little piece of his beer heaven (Independent Salford Beer Festival 💙) to our little bash. ... not to be outdone (too much) we've also been busy brewing 5 brand new collaborative beers with friends old and new - SQUAWK BREWING CO Donzoko @Gibberishbrews Hawksmoor Manchester and James Campbell. All will all be available at the tap room on 25 / 26 May in keg and...

... thanks to CentralMancsCamra also in CASK where styles seem appropriate. We'll have four lines of Runaway cask on for as long as it lasts. We're also getting some delicious cider and perry with the help of @Ashton1848 which will be on the bar all weekend.

... but a birthday wouldn't be compete without an argument or two after a few too many impy stouts. GOOD NEWS! We've roped in the guys from Beernomicon Podcast to host two special events on Sunday 26th May. A panel chat about localism, independence and the role of ambition in brewing...
