Great showing from out AHS throwing crew at the LPC track meet Friday! Shelby Roberts McGeehon 2nd place in discus, Hayden Gauna 5h place in shot, and Gael Elizondo with a big PR and 3rd place.

Our sprinters tore it up on the track Friday night! Tanner Thomas and Jayden Henson Stice got 2nd and 3rd in the 100. Remi Roberts McGeehon got 2nd in the 400. Ema Simpson got 2nd in the 400 and 7th in the 200.

Outstanding job from our hurdlers Friday night! Emmalee Reel 1st in the 300h and 2nd in the 100h. Braden Phillips 7th in the 300h. Josiah Hout 7th in the 100h.

Huge PRs from our Jumpers at the LPC meet Friday! Crystal Ramirez 5th place in HJ. Tanner Thomas and Remi Roberts McGeehon 5th and 7th place in LJ. Brody and Braden Phillips 2nd and 3rd in TJ.

Congratulations to Braden and Gael on continuing their athletic careers in college. Gael will be playing football at Monmouth College Football and Braden will be playing basketball and running track Millikin University Athletics .

Hayden Gauna finishes her AHS track career with a 5th place finish in shot at sectionals and 2nd all time in program history. Super proud of this young lady!

Crystal Ramirez finished in 5th place in HJ today. Crystal ends her AHS career tied for 1st in school history with height of 5ft. Thank you Crystal for all your leadership, hard work, and fun loving attitude!

Special shout out to Shelby Roberts McGeehon. Shelby threw last night at our sectional meet and placed 7th. Shelby ends her AHS career in 3rd all time in discus. Thank you Shelby for your constant hard work and commitment to our program!

Ema Simpson is state bound! Ema finished in 3rd place in the 400 with a state qualifying time then finished off the night with monster PR in the 200. Way to go Ema!

Congratulations Braden Phillips on jumping a big PR in TJ 42ft 5 in and qualifying for state!

Big shout out to our Boys 4X100 on getting 1st and qualifying for state. Way to fellas!

Shout out to Ema Simpson who finished her 2025 season at state in the 400. Last season Ema batted injury and work tirelessly all year to prepare for this year. She came back stronger and better. Can’t wait to see this kid on the track next year!

Braden Phillips starts the day off in TJ. Currently in 7th place with a jump of 41’3

4x100 punches their ticket to Saturday with a big PR 43.16. They go into Saturday ranked 7th. Way to go boys!

For our end of the year celebration the AHS track hit the course for some competitive putt putt. Rumor has it Tanner Thomas dethroned coach Eddleman as the putt putt champion. Unfortunately the official score card was lost so we’ll have to call it a tie.
