Great win. Clean sheet. Got fortunate. Didn’t always play well but a good way to go into the International break. Players clearly need a rest (some will get some)
It’s a long season. Sometimes you need a bit of luck. Second half much improved.
Love these type of wins. London
Chelsea were so unfortunate to lose Jackson and Guiu on deadline day to injury in January.
Jackson had a terrible run of form and then 2 awful sendings off.
I know Jackson will be irate about this situation but redemption is a wonderful thing in sport. He has an opportunity
In theory, bringing Jackson back makes the most sense on paper. He is still our player and contractually has no legs to stand on.
However, one of the reasons we were getting rid of him in the first place was because of his immaturity.
There were clear signs last season that
Am I wrong? It was a foul on Chalobah. He stood on his foot and thus prevented Chalobah being able to get back and defend.
I am very confused about all the fuss…..it was clearly a foul or am I missing something?
Deadline day scenarios:
Villa or Newcastle are going to try and buy Jackson.
Newcastle buy him - Chelsea go for Lopez
Villa buy him - we go for Rogers
Guiu plays as back up striker for rest of the season.
Disasi goes to Sunderland on loan or for a cut price deal. We owe
Buoananotte. Don’t sleep on him. He is considerably better than a lot of people are saying. He might not be the player we wanted but he will surprise a lot of people.
This isn’t copium, he just isn’t as bad as people make out.
Transfer window overview:
Raised the floor, potentially the ceiling by next year…..
As the window closes, there are a lot of uncertainties. Many can feel deflated but actually there is still a lot to be excited about.
It’s the fear of the unknown that’s hard to digest.
