Here’s the second reconstruction I have been working on! The pattern in the upper ring is similar to the pattern discussed on my previous tweet. Im 99% sure that the two items have to be from the same building as they also appear to be from the same stone. Ideas/opinions welcome!

My uni has closed because of #coronavirus so I’m going to be working from home for the foreseeable future, expect a lot of updates because this is going to be my main focus during self isolation! #Archaeology #britisharchaeology #WW2

Came across this interesting piece of stunning tile at Crosby, trying to work out what it was from. Possibly a fireplace but I’m not convinced... any ideas? #archaeology #artdeco #britisharchaeology #modernarchaeology

Pictured here is a canopy with a faux keystone decoration, this piece would have been placed above a door for decoration or above a statue to highlight the piece. #liverpool #britisharchaeology #archaeology
