Here’s the second reconstruction I have been working on! The pattern in the upper ring is similar to the pattern discussed on my previous tweet. Im 99% sure that the two items have to be from the same building as they also appear to be from the same stone. Ideas/opinions welcome!

Here is an extract from the Watch Committee report detailing the destruction in Liverpool caused by the air raid on May 3rd 1941, 79 years ago tonight.

Came across this interesting piece of stunning tile at Crosby, trying to work out what it was from. Possibly a fireplace but I’m not convinced... any ideas? #archaeology #artdeco #britisharchaeology #modernarchaeology
