We've had a week of Egyptian workshops from Derby Museum. Writing our name in hieroglyphs on papyrus and touching a 3.000 year old shabti were highlights. It was a great way to showcase our term's learning.

Y3 and Y4 enjoyed an amazing Egyptian workshop last week, delivered by @[email protected]
We built the King's Pyramid in Giza, learnt about the process of mummification and listened to incredible Egyptian myths. #TheArboretumWay

As part of their PSHE topic, the Year 5/6 children decided to raise money for Oxfam and Unicef, by selling things that they had made. They raised a massive £507.88! 🤩We are incredibly proud! They have really shown their true Arboretum spirit. #reachforthestars #teamwork
