My #producer and I spent the week volunteering with Project Seagrass as part of our #research for our short #film (and for our crowdfunding perk Zine). Learned so much, enjoyed every second, and can't wait to #volunteer again!

So many #directors think #producers are just there for logistics. Producers are there for so much more; research trips, advocacy work, late night conversations, 4am coffee, and stupid jokes no-one else will get. For all the incredible work producers do, thank you, I see you 🙌

Starting this week with a cold dip into the sea! Yesterday, my producer and I joined Project Seagrass to help prepare seagrass for transferring to meadows on the Isle of Wight. So far so good! enjoying learning how to care for zostera ahead of our short film!

My producer and I have secured nearly £18k for our short film! In the coming weeks we'll be posting a very different-looking-crowdfunder to hopefully secure the final amount and help pass down information. Years of making £0 shorts seems to be paying off! Stay tuned :)
