The real housing crisis is spending money & energy getting people to believe that governments can make a home that is now unaffordable, affordable. This whole convo needs to be shifted to fully subsidized & safe rental housing for all. This ain’t your grandpappy’s toronto

Some misconceptions that exist in TO real estate today "rates are going up 30-40%, therefore, prices will be down 30-40%" this is wrong. "in 2017 the suburbs crashed so the same must happen now" this is wrong "People will panic sell as rates come up" this is wrong namaste

Today 3 of my buyers in a small condo dev were asked to pony up more $ or back out of their deal. And they were ok with it. Why? Big picture thinkers. No way to get same condo for cheaper in resale or other pre-con Sucks to eat into their "gain" but they're still ahead.
