We are glad to welcome Dr Marnix Gorissen from Radboud University in the Netherlands presenting the research in aquaculture from his group to our ACES-STAR Aquaculture Master : transgenic zebrafish and crustacean physiology

Greek fish aquaculture reached 130000 tons in 2022 with sea bream and sea bass accounting for 96%. Many ACES-STAR Aquaculture Master of ACES JMD Erasmus Master are doing dissertations with our partner from Heraklion University to help the sector and innovate, like in this farm in Peloponnese

Welcome David Jacinto from the Aquatic Research Network (ARNET-MARE) at the University of Évora, Portugal. He will exchange with our ACES-STAR Aquaculture Master and EBM students about the biological and economic feasibility of the aquaculture of the stalked barnacle (Pollicipes pollicipes)
