It's March already, which means our next #spokenword #openmic event is this Thursday, starting at 7.30pm at the WI Hall, #Bridport. It'll be great as ever to hear voices familiar and new!

As it's #WorldBookDay on Thursday, feel free to come along and share a passage from a favourite piece! Anything up to 5mins each on the mic.

Statement on the future of Apothecary.

I co-founded Apothecary in 2015 as a monthly spoken word event with a sole focus on the 'open mic'. No headliners. Equal opps for all. Very proud of what we did but all good things must eventually... evolve into other, perhaps greater (?) things. Time will tell...

This evening is Bardfest '22 at #Bridport's WI Hall from 6.30pm. Join @bardicacademic, myself, and many others to raise money for the UK for UNHCR through poetry, storytelling, song and dance (but not necessarily all at the same time).
