I would read more into the $hype weakness if we weren't in the summer. Sometimes things are just wonky for whatever reason, and their underperformance which seemed foreboding resolves randomly all the sudden.

If I had to guess a lot of people who bought into the pump ico and also bought perps are of the trencher ilk. Hence, the shaky PA as they slowly capitulate as the trade takes longer than expected. Patience is a virtue. People are in literal physical pain after 3 days of chop.

Only a small number of coins are attractive investments and they garner the majority of attention and flows. OTHERS has been down only since '22. Majority of altcoins are the equivalents of shitcos. This is why it feels like we've already been in a bear for awhile.
