The time is now. Let's bring the Washington Commanders home.

DC's economy is shifting. We need jobs and growth. We have 180 acres of opportunity on the RFK campus. Our deal with the Washington Commanders is the fastest and surest route to deliver not just sports and entertainment—but also housing, jobs, recreation, and economic development.

The Commanders have committed to make the largest private investment in DC in our history. Yes, this is great for football. But it is also great to host events, build thousands of new units of housing, bring new retail and restaurants to Ward 7, and catalyze the entire city.

Promises made. Promises kept. I've been working on this for the 10 years that I've been Mayor, and now, we have the right partner at the right time. Let's give our Commanders a big Washington, DC welcome.
