I have three Bluesky invite codes I would like to pass on to interested people. If you're seeing this, you're welcome to them, but I'd esp. like for people/orgs who are from or are interested in Latin America to have them. DM me if you'd like them or can pass them on.

I have two invite codes to the other place that I'd like to pass on to journalists, academics, writers on culture, etc. who live in/write about Latin America. DM me if you're interested.

Sitting here wondering how Mitchell might rephrase that final sentence if he were to take generative AI technologies into account.

FALSO! Una invención difundida…

Last week, I'd extended some grace to a student in need of it, and today they left this on my desk with a note reading, 'Thanks for aloe-ing me to grow!'

All I can say is, I'm glad I didn't have to teach this afternoon, because the room got very dusty there for a while.
