Thank you to Governor Phil Murphy & Sen. Cruz-Perez (NJ Fifth Legislative) for your partnership on this legislation. In the midst of a global pandemic, no family should have to choose between access to reliable utility services and paying for food, housing or medication.

We are one step closer to our “divorce” from NY over the Waterfront Commission. This move will greatly benefit our local community & bring the Commission’s stranglehold on our ports to an end. Thank you to Governor Phil Murphy & my colleagues for helping to protect New Jersey’s workers.

Today we take action with this new law in order to preserve marriage equality in New Jersey. We remain committed to our friends in the Garden State’s LGBTQ community and do all we can to ensure same-sex couples have equal rights under the law which includes marriage.

I think about this quote from Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. quite often. Together, our actions can make a huge difference, and we can answer Dr. King’s question through action, and move closer to his dream. #MLKDay
