Thank you to the Canal & River Trust Canal & River Trust for meeting last week with Cllr Royle and myself to see first-hand several maintenance hotspots along the Sawbridgeworth towpath. We look forward to hearing what can be done to repair them.

Tree planting in Sawbridgeworth - the Town Council will be reinstating a hedgerow by Pishiobury Park, Great St Mary’s Church will be tree planting in the grave yard, and 15 trees have been planted at the Bullfields Centre. All will be registered under the Queen’s Green Canopy.

A huge thank you to all who helped with and came along to River Day – we had a super celebration of the canal and river Stort on our doorstep – wonderful to have the Canal & River Trust working with Sawbridgeworth T C to run this event.

Many thanks to our local East Herts Police PCSOs for free bike marking in Bell Street this evening. They plan to be in Bullfields park until 8pm.
