Reading a new paper on insect declines (includes spiders, so actually arthropods) in Germany. 10 years of systematic annual sampling, 150 grassland, 30 forest sites. Strong declines observed. Main conclusion? Drivers of decline operate at landscape level go.nature.com/2BTfVK1
