I wonder why they don't take into account how many rehospitalisations Fast Tracks can prevent. Rehospitalisations often means unnecessary more distress for patients and families at a much greater cost for the NHS than providing care at home.

People (very much including me) who've spent their/our whole lives in systems that talk of winning and losing, find it hard to describe results as neither a win or a loss. Maybe that's because they really are neither.
