Great to see how flexible we can be during these challenging times and how #Telepractice is still an effective way in offering quality #IntelligibilityEnhancement services to our #multilingual speakers! It was a great experience to be a part of this

Joe Donnelly Saheel Singh @marianguyenSP Sarah Orlovich Great question Joe! I’d have to say I’m a latte ☕️ you can have it hot or cold - which is personally my fav heading into summer! It’s made with a balance of rich strong espresso and ice cold milk. I try to be flexible and adaptive in my environment and keep a balanced lifestyle!

Understanding nuances of #SocMed language - emojis, hashtags, tags, gifs. Understanding implied and hidden meaning. So much of this online. And it's especially hard for CYP with #DevLangDis #WeSpeechies

Ann (@ann_nguyendo) 's Twitter Profile Photo

If a CYP with #DLD had a special talent, they could have a goal of using their social media platform as a space to share their creative outlet and ideas! Learning how to engage with other artists or creative minds will open up so many more opportunities! #DevLangDis #WeSpeechies

Tips could include providing educational examples and learn ways to navigate the risks of social media! Also understanding your digital footprint - what this says about you now and in the future! #DevLangDis #DLD #WeSpeechies

All my placements have been super rewarding as I have discovered my passion for both paeds and adults! Our CE’s have made sure that we see clients with a variety of clinical presentations. I’m currently on my final adult placement at Speech Pathology at UTS and am loving every minute of it!

Ann (@ann_nguyendo) 's Twitter Profile Photo

Big shout out to my past and present CE’s for all their support in guiding us over tele-health! They have shown great skills in adapting to change! My CE and our group are using Microsoft Teams to communicate remotely and it’s been really efficient and effective! #WeSpeechies

In combatting the loss of hospital experiences, thank you to Speech Pathology at UTS for all the hard work in designing Simulation placements to give us the acute hospital experience!! There’s a lot of role playing so I’ve definitely improved on my acting skills! #WeSpeechies #SLP2b

Thank you to Amy Freeman-Sanderson and BronwynHemsley for all your hard work in organising this Acute Hospital #Simulation placement! Thank you to our CE’s Cath Gregory, PhD and Dr Lucy Bryant for making us think about our clinical reasoning & prioritisation in the acute setting! #nomoreliferafts

What an amazing experience it was to observe Amy Freeman-Sanderson do what she does best at #RPA hospital today!🤩 We saw a complex pt and couldn’t get all the info from a bedside Ax. Great to see the impact we made by strongly advocating for the pt to get a VFSS and find some answers! #slp2b

Do you use a straw to drink? Do you have a swallowing difficulty? Which kind of straw do you prefer? What do you think of the #StrawBan? If you'd like to share your thoughts, please complete this survey for my research project: redcap.link/PlasticStrawBa… #SLPResearch
