Super exciting NASA Webb Telescope result from a team of Canadian astronomers! The Sparkler Galaxy, part of Webb's Deep Field, seems to be surrounded by glittering globular clusters of stars that might host some of the oldest stars observed.

These cosmic “tree rings” tell a story written by the stars. Every 8 years, these 2 stars are brought together by their orbits, creating streams of gas that can then form a new ring of dust. Webb reveals 15 of the 17 rings here for the first time: nasa.gov/feature/jpl/st…

Taking a Halloween break this year, hanging out with my family in Florida for some vacation time. But also mostly know I’ll never be able to top last year’s costume of NASA Webb Telescope.

I know Twitter is like a weird place right now, but... If you're interested in astronomy, outreach, education, exoplanets, telescopes and eclipses, join our team! We are hiring for a new Outreach Officer!

The shocks and turbulence caused by the protostar within L1527 prevents the formation of new stars. As a result, the protostar dominates the space, taking much of the nearby material for itself. Explore the stunning #NASAWebb image: webbtelescope.pub/3hHGAS8 #UnfoldTheUniverse

Haven't had the chance to give any in-person public talks in English in Montreal yet about NASA Webb Telescope, so really looking forward to this one before unplugging before the holiday season!

The JWST First Science Results Meeting at Space Telescope Science Institute this week is one of the best meetings I've ever attended. All the talks were so amazing, and it was a true privilege to get such a great overview of everything NASA Webb Telescope has done... in just a few months!!!
