#CSSLRV researcher & CSAHS, University of Guelph #Sociology PhD candidate Ciara Boyd presented this week at Homicide Research Working Group (HRWG) annual meeting in Clearwater, #Florida. Drawing from #CFOJA data, & co-authored w/ Angelika & Myrna Dawson🇨🇦, it examines #FemicideSuicide in #Canada from 2010-2023.

I am so proud #Canada is 1 of the countries working to hold #Taliban accountable for #violence & #discrimination against women in #Afghanistan. A chapter in our collection focused on #femicide in #Afghanistan, written by authors who were fleeing the country.
