Grateful to Nature Reviews Psychology for the opportunity to write about this topic in a more formal way and to those people with power that have advocated for me and other academic mothers (and parents more generally). There’s more work to be done, though.

Taylor Rodriguez presenting at the #2022FirearmResearchConf on a new study with the NJ Gun Violence Research Center at Rutgers SPH!

1/ Here it is folks: the NJ Gun Violence Research Center at Rutgers SPH FY24 Call for Proposals. Applications are due July 1 and we’re funding three tracks. I’ll explain more in this thread.

Just about two weeks left - apply for a gun violence prevention research grant through the NJ Gun Violence Research Center at Rutgers SPH - We have 3 tracks this year, the range in eligible project sizes is massive, and the application is fairly low key. Feel free to contact me with questions!

Could not be more excited for Taylor Rodriguez who just passed her dissertation defense with flying colors! She's the best!!
