Anthony Boutall Mark If it's PISA ratings that are of concern, the mean performance scores in the UK haven't significantly shifted in Reading and Maths since 2006. Science has tanked over the last decade. Crackdowns on inflated results in other countries is the main driver of ranking improvements.

Robert Jenrick You were fined £1,107 and banned from driving for doing 68mph in a 40. You painted over a children's Disney mural at an asylum seeker dentention centre. You fast tracked the Westferry decision to save Tory party donor Richard Desmond £45 million You’re a natural Tory leader

As with Rising Damp yesterday, I'm going with a double bill of Yes Minister. This clip is the easiest of wins, of course. But, by thunder, it's a good'n. Plus ça change, as they say in the Dordogne. Good evening.

Sophie Corcoran Your tweet is ludicrous Soapy because it’s simply not true. FYI wake me up when inflation is at 11% & mortgages have trebled just like it did under the Tories.👋🏾👋🏾👋🏾

Harry Cole It's in Britian's interest for Starmer to succeed, but you'd never know it from the whining and attacks by the press and right wing parties here... maybe take your own advice and stop talking the UK and out government down constantly?

leekern Nazis: “We plan to relocate the Jews to all the countries that accuse us of the Holocaust. If they don’t accept our plan, then their lies are exposed.” You really think this is the flex you think it is?

Aaron Bastani Which is why it’s crucial we move away from America for European defence Trump is great as a wake up call for Europe to build its own defence industry and not depend on over complicated hardware needing frequent expensive software upgrade from America If deepseek has thought

A tearful Darren Grimes confirms he's been fired by GB News. He's off to persue "personal projects" i.e. whining about things he doesn't understand on social media. Those delicious tears though. Karma.

The Free Speech Union Free speech does not mean freedom from the consequences of speech, especially when said "free speech" happens on your employer's time and using an account explicitly linked to your employer. Any employer anywhere would react the same way as Waitrose did. Choose a better martyr.

Leland Menhenott Don’t they teach history at your school? 🤦‍♂️ Here’s what actually happened. You’re welcome 1945 – Labour elected •Britain was already economically crippled by WWII. •Labour rebuilt the country: founded the NHS, created the welfare state, and helped win the peace. 1947 –

The IRA didn't decommission their weapons as soon as the GFA was signed, it would have been bonkers to suggest they should have done that. Weapons can't be disposed of until long after the occupier leaves. The GRA was signed in 1998, the IRA decommissioned their weapons in 2005.

A pointless personal attack on an almost 80 year-old man who mostly works for free to support children’s literacy, who narrowly survived Covid and continues to have severe health issues. His crime? Using the free bus pass he is entitled to.
