We are deeply saddened to hear that HRH Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh, has passed away. On behalf of colleagues across the NHS, we’d like to send our condolences to the The Royal Family during this difficult time.

Our Chairman and CEO have said: We are deeply saddened by the news that His Royal Highness Prince Philip, the Duke of Edinburgh, has passed away, aged 99. The thoughts of all of us at Salisbury Hospital are with the Royal Family at this sad time.

Although COVID-19 restrictions end in many settings in England on Monday, in line with Public Health England guidelines, our hospital will continue with current measures requiring all staff, patients and visitors to continue face mask wearing, social distancing and hand hygiene.
