Like that Fleetwood win a lot myself. A pretty quiet 2-1 Tigers squad that has the potential to really wreck some things. First up is a very, very intriguing game with Weiser to give some hints into that section race. I’d pay attention to the winner of that game in particular

Have said before and I will continue to say until given reason otherwise, Conrad Weiser is a true & legitimate threat to take Section 3. Can only play the teams on your slate and the Scouts have been impressive all the same. This game with Fleetwood coming up is especially tasty

Uh oh. That’s now two in a row posted by the Mules. Coming out of traditional noncon, Solanco is standing at 2-1. Feel like this game against Warwick here will be a big tell on how they factor into the race plus Eastern York behind it. Solanco with momentum is a dangerous thought

Will admit that I didn’t see it coming, but maybe the best win of the week was turned in by Warwick. Obviously done a huge solid by 7 turnovers of course, but looks like they also did their own part too. Good to see them hit 100+ thru the air. A sneaky good game w/ Solanco here

Lots of good wins put out there from the week, but I like ELCO’s an awful lot. Obviously hasn’t been a great first two for them, but maybe that second half against Catholic does something for them the homeward portion. Two monsters back-to-back now, but good on the Raiders here

Good on Wyomissing for coming out of that non-PIAA portion of the slate at an even mark and not letting last week snowball into something more. All business from here on out for Wyo. Could be staring down the barrel of 4 straight impressive performances for the Spartans coming up

In terms of big wins, Garden Spot is right up there too. Was pretty apparent scoring is not an issue, but perhaps finishing was. Here, they end up checking that off by beating maybe the hottest team in the county. Big W for Spot. A true threat to end up taking Sect 3 I’d argue

Not much to add on a 69-0 win with 62 of em coming in the first half alone. But here is one stat that is absolutely wild—Twin Valley is averaging a shade over a point per minute (again, minute) thru 3 games. I’m no expert but that if that’s not peak efficiency, then I’m lost

Yet another business trip from Exeter this weekend. Eagles are a 3x winner so far by a 134-7 count. First significant test will come this week with Mifflin. I for one am very curious to see what comes out the other side of that game, but nothing but respect on Exeter’s name

Gotta give it to CV. Buckskins are on one right now and good for them. Certainly been a long time coming. Thru 3 games, none have been close. That figures to all change this week with Ephrata. If they dominate there too, how can you nitpick their first four? Something cooking

Back into the win column for Muhlenberg. Muhls seem like one of the better stories taking shape thru the first handful of weeks. Take care of your business & Muhlenberg should be 3-1 heading into Mifflin week. Would like to run into the Muhls somewhere along my travels this year

Vintage Governor Mifflin performance I saw first-hand on Friday. Just steadily added up the body blows before the dam burst. Did get way closer than necessary down the stretch, but Mustangs held Hempfield off. This is a dangerous crew, especially if they can play on their terms

Looking forward to this one. A consensus top tier team in the state against a team coming off arguably one of the best wins all of last week. I got ELCO Athletics & Twin Valley Football tomorrow night for EasternPAFootball
