(2/3) Pulse Pressure is a pretty good surrogate for stroke volume. In sepsis, PP < 40mmHg is associated with low stroke volume. In hemorrhage, PP< 30mmHg is associated with low stroke volume. Sometimes, low PP is defined as SBP <25% (relevant for more hypertensive patients)
