As we honor the retirement of my friend and longtime Executive Director to Montgomery Council, Marlene Michelson, I sincerely thank her for her decades of valuable service to MoCo. A trusted confidant and mentor to countless public servants over the years. You will be greatly missed!

Today Montgomery Council recognized #YomHaShoah with Holocaust survivors and their families. Their presence is a daily act of defiance against the worst forms of hatred. Amid rising antisemitism, we share a solemn obligation to bear witness to the atrocities of the Shoah. #NeverAgain

Earlier today, Montgomery County Department of Police recognized many officers during an awards ceremony, including Ofc. Chen. In September, Ofc. Chen responded to a stabbing that had just occurred. He arrived in less than one minute and quickly realized the victim had sustained serious injuries.
