Quick Conversion Tip

If your offer’s selling well…

To make even more sales test different formats.

For example you could try:

• VSL
• Webinar
• Direct mail

Quick Marketing Challenge

Let’s try something a little different…

I saw this definition of “offer” on here last week:

• Your offer is the outcome you promise someone

What do you think?

Is it a good definition?

Would you change anything?

Quick Marketing Tip

Think long term.

You don't get a customer to make a sale.

You make a sale to get a customer.

Big Announcement!

I've joined Francis Nayan's The Nomadic Copywriter community as the resident copywriting coach.

He was already doing an amazing job helping people learn email copywriting and get clients.

And he wanted to take it to the next level.

So he's brought me aboard…

Quick Copywriting Tip

To strengthen your CTA and help knock prospects off the fence...

Add a proof element directly under it.

You can show:

• A testimonial
• The number of customers
• Known brands you've worked with

Or anything else that shows you're trustworthy.

Quick Copywriting Tip

Watch out for 'pet' words.

We all have favourite words and phrases we overuse.

So be aware of them.

And when you edit your copy remove or replace them.

Quick Email Tip

Whenever you run any sort of sale...

Always send at least one “last chance” email an hour or so before the sale ends.

Because some of your subscribers will leave it until the last minute to buy.

And you don’t want them to miss out.

And that's my coaching launch offer over!

Thank you to everyone who bought.

I'll try to get a post written about what I've learned from the experience this week.

(And as long as you reached out before midnight the offer's good for you.)

Had some quality Aberdeen Angus topside for dinner.

It was a little rarer than I expected, but still delicious.

Probably should have spread it out a bit better for the picture.

Cooked steak for myself and my parents tonight.

They were only thin, but they were high quality Wagyu beef.

1 minute each side and they were perfect.

Could have framed the photo a bit better and got rid of the empty space in the middle of the shot though.

I nearly forgot the weekly reminder!

If you want to write great copy…

Focus on the Fundamental Five:

1) Proof
2) Clarity
3) Benefits
4) Research
5) Specificity

Quick Copywriting Tip

To increase the perceived value of your bonuses...

State how much they'd cost bought separately.

A bonus guide is ok.

But a bonus guide worth $27 is much more effective.

(And sell them separately for that amount if possible.)
