Snow Map (Through 11 AM New Year's Day) — A widespread dusting to 2" in the wider valleys, with 2–4" for many higher terrain towns. Jackpot is 4–8" in the St. Lawrence Valley (due to lake-effect enhancement), Adirondack High Peaks and Green Mountain spine.

60" of snow depth at Mt. Mansfield on the last day of 2025. That's over 2 feet (26") above average for the date. Plus, a few more inches on the way as we welcome 2026. A great start to the new year for the ski resorts!

Bitter cold expected locally for the first several days of 2026. Cold pocket of air around through this weekend and early next week, as much of the country turns mild.
