I have always supported tables and chairs in the city; but hoarding, permanent canopies, A-boards, canopies all add to the street clutter. Maybe insisting all to be brought in at night might stop the ever increasing expansion on footpath?

In 1997 Lloyd-Webber also said if Labour won the election he would leave the country. He’s still here and now a farm land owner.

Claire, You’re right. These are the issues people in rural areas care about, and really impact them. Pls add to your list - teenagers needing buses as their means of freedom. The political establishment is arguing about IHT affecting a few. This issue needs to be centre stage

Immigration figures are through the roof. The tories manipulated the people to say Brexit would control the numbers while they deflected the argument over the illegal immigration. All the time in the bexit debate Labour stayed silent. Shame on all of them

But Brexit was all to address the divisions in the Tory party. The sad truth was that labour then realised that the ordinary people of this country had been sold a lie over many years and their party were unable to undo their own lies.

UK faces youth jobs crisis as number of ‘neets’ rises to almost 1m - The Guardian. Always a worrying figure for any area of the UK. The article refers to a cooling jobs market but most business sectors talk of a skills shortage. apple.news/AAZ-hlmpcSaShN…

An E-bike burst into flames on the Northern end of the Met line today, had this happened in a tunnel it could have been catastrophic. E-scooters and e-unicycles are banned on TfL services but e-bikes are still not. They are just as dangerous, TfL needs to act now and ban them.

The laws in HK now mean that if you speak out against the CCP you can get arrested. So being turned back at the border may be the better option.

If she is walking in that direction she’s not taking the quickest route to the railway station. Congested and busy yes, but as locals we all know the routes to take in the city centre to avoid the crowds. I think the post is a bit made up and exaggerated.

And for as long as the building has been closed, i and others have been denied access to the Roman mosaic in the basement. During the planning process I was assured that public access to the mosaic would be maintained. But this has not been the case.

Bristol airport expansion is underpinned by a business case totally reliant on car parking revenue, of which dropping off is part of. A rail link is discussed at every expansion but promised later with an inadequate bus service provided. Blatant profiteering.

Article says: “free Park & Ride travel from 19 to 24 January, thanks to the West of England Mayoral Combined Authority.” West of England Mayoral Combined Authority as resident who lives on the Newbridge P&R route but it doesn’t stop to pick up, will residents get free bus travel over this period too?

There needs to be transparency of the royal family finances and accountability of their actions. It’s about time elected politicians represented the people and the tax payers rather than doff their caps to royalty.
