Something I dislike about academia is how often we receive anonymous feedback from people who don't care about how it makes us feel. Students, peer reviewers, grant funding bodies... Difficult to stay focused on your own work when others determine the trajectory of your career.

Hey folks! So it’s been over two years since I stopped regularly posting on UH. The site costs me $200 a year, and still gets a fair amount of traffic. But I’m not sure it’s worth my paying to continue. Any thoughts or suggestions?
