As a very regular user of HAVL & someone who advocates for use of a stylet over a bougie I am surprised by the results.
My rationale is that the stylet makes (should make)β¦
Tim Cook ππ―π’π¦π΄π΅π©π¦π΄πͺπ’ Iβd be interested to know the seniority of the anaesthetists. Older ones are very good at using a bougie, whereas a videolaryngoscope/stylet/tube is far less familiar. Muscle memory and subconscious knowledge of how to manipulate the boogie through the cords cannot be discounted.

it may require the stylet to removed incrementally as the tube is advanced.
