New blog post: Receiving HADES-D. Yesterday I recorded a pass of AmSat-EA's new PocketQube, during some tests of the FM repeater. I measure the signal power and extrapolate the EIRP on the satellite, trying to determine what kind of station can receive it easily. 🧵

HADES-D is responding correctly to telecommands. FM repeater is under test now. CW and FSK telemetry are easy to receive as well as FM voice beacon (0.25W downlink for this one). RX of FM repeater might require a good receptor as power is 40mW only. Final TLE still pending. Thx!

This afternoon AMSAT sent the following letter to S5Lab regarding the planned decommissioning of IO-117 (GreenCube). AMSAT stands ready to leverage our decades of experience to work to overcome any obstacles, regulatory or otherwise, to keeping IO-117 in service.
