Palestinian prisoner Walid Daqqah has died in Israeli custody.

Walid was diagnosed with cancer in 2022. Over 1,000 Irish people signed our petition to demand his release on humanitarian grounds.

His death is a cruel reminder of Israel's disregard of Palestinians' right to life.

Walid Daqqah is a terminally ill Palestinian prisoner who faces a real and imminent danger to his life. He has completed his sentence, but the Israeli authorities are refusing to release him.
