Today we made a farewell call to Governor General of NZ, H.E. The Right Hon. Dame Patsy Reddy & Sir David G. @ Goverment House. We have a very friendly ‘n positive talks on the excellent bilateral relations between TL-NZ & the ongoing support of NZ to #TimorLeste’s development.

Really pleased to meet ‘n farewell former Deputy Commander of INTERFET, MAJGEN Martyn Dunne(Ret) and Madam Jenny today at Wellington Club. Friendly retrospective conversation on INTERFET’s role during the dark times of 1999 post-Referendum in #TimorLeste.

Today I have the opportunity to farewell HE Chris Seed, CE of @MFATgovtNZ and James Waite of SEA Division at MFAT. We have a very friendly and constructive talks on bilateral relations and cooperation between #TimorLeste - New Zealand and NZ prospective role on TL’s development.

My last visit to @MFATgovtNZ building today, to farewell the Chief of Protocol Michael Swain . I recall 5 1/2 years ago, my first visit was done for a courtesy call to former Chief of Protocol Caroline B. 🙏 to Protocol Division for the support given during my posting in NZ.

It was a great honour ‘n privilege to stand as Acting Dean of DipCorps @ Inaugural Ceremony of Elected Mayor ‘n Councillors of Wellington City Council during my last day ‘n last event as 1st Resident-Ambassador of #TimorLeste to NZ. It was great to meet Hon. @RonMarkNZF as well!

Great to know that ‘sexual assiduity’ is now a crime in #TimorLeste. Hopefully Public Service Commission (Commissao Funcao Publica) can now investigate ‘sexual misconducts’ commited by govt. officials within state institutions, including Ministry of ForeignAffairs ‘n Cooperation

After settling down back in #TimorLeste early this month, it was really a privilege for me and my wife to stand as witnesses (padrinhos de casamento) during the official wedding ceremony of my nephew Juvenio and his bride today in Baucau @ Bucoli Catholic Church ⛪️!

Very pleased to have my second dose of AstraZeneca vaccine. Hopefully from now on, I can travel freely inside #TimorLeste.

Very pleased to see my first daughter Michelle H. A. Da Costa getting her first Pfizer Vaccine at Timor Adventist International School (TAIS).

Today I have the golden opportunity to get my PFIZER Booster Vaccine at Comoro Health Center in Dili, after double AstraZ in my hometown Baucau, last year. I would like to encourage my friends to get the BOOSTER Vaccine as soon as you can. Stay Safe and Sound throughout 2022.
