Today is the International Day of
#Multilateralism and #Diplomacy for Peace. As the #UN Secretary General rightly wrote in his message on this occasion, this Day highlights a fundamental truth : no country can solve today’s challenges alone.

Most of them decided to join NATO when naive Russia believed that the Cold War was over and that future security would be based on honest cooperation. They individually and collectively (together with the old members of the Alliance) forced Russia to reassess the situation.
