Librarian of the Am Phil Society John Vaughan wrote to Julian Niemcewicz in March 1805. An answer was written by the Secretaries of the APS to J. Stroynowski Rector of the University of Wilna. Vaughan was directed to send Vols. 5 & 6 of the Transactions to the University Library.
Huge congrats to UofL History Department assistant professor, Dr. Elise Franklin, for being awarded a grant from the Am Phil Society! With this grant, Dr. Franklin will conduct archival research in France this summer for a new book project, Abduction in the Archives.
