National Influencing Manager Rachael Anne met with Emily Darlington MP - it was great to hear the work Emily spearheaded as Deputy Leader of Milton Keynes City Council to make Milton Keynes the first dementia-friendly city. In July, the new government commissioned Lord Darzi to look into the current state of the NHS. The report, published today, highlights why we have been campaigning for change in the healthcare system to ensure it's ready for the challenge dementia poses - now and in the future.
