Such a refreshing change from what we’ve seen other universities across Europe do. This has made our work for AltSOU and the Florentine encampment so easier!

Our Intimately Material conference finished last week! We were so grateful to be able to organize this event and bring together scholars working with Marxist & materialist approaches to gender & sexuality!

Coinciding with the AltSOU & the student intifada protests, the conference's themes resonated deeply with ongoing grassroots movements, grounding our academic debates in real-time political struggles. It was a pleasure, & we can’t wait to work with you again in the future!

Collective Statement of the Students for Palestine about the events of today.

At European University Institute there is an insane grant disparity among researchers. In all of this, Spain Ministerio de Universidades Ministerio de Ciencia, Innovación y Universidades keeps ignoring our demands for decent living and working conditions and they don’t even show up to the HC EUI Researchers' Union #EUIUniquelyUnequal #SpainIsDifferent

Once again the Spanish representative from Ministerio de Universidades is not coming to the High Council. Spanish researchers have to live precariously while their government fails its duties under the EUI convention! #EUIUniquelyUnequal #SpainIsDifferent

Today & Tomorrow are the High Council meetings at European University Institute. We hope the reps of the Member States took our intervention last year to heart & will do their utmost to move towards grant equality and better researcher representation. Show some courage, WE NEED CONVENTION CHANGE!
