Charles de Ribaupierre from Alpenstock spent part of the Christmas- und New-Year's-break going through his old photo albums. In the process, this newspaper article from 1982 came to light. It shows his former band STOP Orchestra, which Le Nouvelliste wrote about at the time.

HaTo kick off the year, we have something for you from Charles’s family album. Admittedly, one might think this is how Charles de Ribaupierre and his wife Mimi celebrated Christmas. However, the photo was actually taken a few weeks earlier, at Charles’s birthday party.

In March 2025, Alpenstock’s debut album “Boudu Story” was released. You can still buy it on vinyl and CD (and of course in digital form on all download stores). We fondly remember a nice article from last year on the blog Musikreviews.de: alpenstock.bandcamp.com/album/boudu-st…
