#CSACI23 Why do you have to go to ED after using your epinephrine auto injector? Mainly because of the risk of needing another dose or also biphasic reaction NOT because Epi given IM - Epi is safe safe safe

#CSACI23 There is NO absolute contraindication to the use of IM epinephrine in the setting of Anaphylaxis. Repeat after me.

Corticosteroids (in case you're going to think about it) has ZERO evidence to prevent biphasic reactions. First generation antihistamines should NEVER be used in the context of anaphylaxis. Stay away! If you're even going to consider it, use 2nd and 3rd generation. #CSACI23
