🇩🇰 It has been a pleasure to attend the Danish Diabetes and Endocrine Academy Summer School in beautiful Agernæs. Across 4 days, I attended 6 speaker sessions and 2 workshops, accompanied by networking dinners and open-water swims. I have left with new knowledge, new connections, and new perspectives 💡

☀️ Last week, Alana Mullins and Alisha Gibbs had the wonderful opportunity to attend the Danish Diabetes and Endocrine Academy summer school for PhD students! Alana did an incredible job on the organising committee this year, and we are sure this was an invaluable experience for them both 🙌

🇦🇺🦘Today marks my first day back in Newcastle following my 4-week research visit to Monash University! I have returned with valuable insights into ROS measurements; now, it's time to reflect on the skills I have gained, and apply these techniques to beta cells in the lab!
