Hi friends!😊 I’m not really back, at least not back-back, just hopping on for a day to see how the cool people are doing. So, what’s new?

I’m free if anyone wants to talk to an adult who was homeschooled K-highschool graduation. Although, confession, I’m the “slacker” without a bachelors degree in my sibling cohort of 4.

I came back on X today because I can’t remember how Jacob Allee told me one actually ought to pronounce λόγος but this apps’ search feature can’t find the exchange. So I still don’t know.

My daughter has been working on finding the circumference & area of circles so I’ve had the joy of explaining that the plural of radius is radii not radiuses because Latin. I want my tombstone to say “worked etymology into any conversation she could.”

Just had that moment of bliss when you think you’ve finished your coffee but you find your mug and it isn’t empty.

Question for Christian Twitter: All other things being equal, (i.e. secular, non-criminal, non-abusive) which of these situations would you consider further from the Biblical ideal for placement of a child?

Not a big sample size cause well, I’m nobody, obvs. But for what it’s worth, I disagree with the majority so far. Are we underestimating the damage of having no family at all? How is never having a family closer to the Biblical ideal?
