Oh my goodness - I found a pair of bat-eared foxes! Well, stumbled across them really. I mean just LOOK at those ears! Such an incredible adaptation (bat-eared foxes can hear insect larvae hatching underground) Be still my canid-loving heart. #scicomm #science #wildlife

The best moment of the past week was the morning we found this little guy 🐘

In early March, a female elephant named Malawi sadly passed away, leaving behind her young calf who unfortunately ran away before he was able to be rescued. Earlier this week we received a call that a young calf was spotted alone by the river. Miraculously it was Malawi’s calf

An incredible moment where the true size of a bull elephant was put into perspective. I thought this 24 year old female was pretty big until a bull in musth came along...

If you are wondering how close you can get to an Ethiopian wolf when you’re riding a horse, the answer is VERY close…! #EWCP wolf monitors use horses to visit packs that are far from camp and it also helps to check the ear-tags. Bonus: the view from a horse is amazing!!
