NDP leadership candidate David Eby has dropped his housing platform. It’s huge, and represents one of the most sweeping shifts in BC housing policy I’ve seen. Among the highlights...

province overriding municipalities might make munis mad. But it might also be a relief that the province is willing to put in the political capital (and take the political heat) for some controversial but important decisions.

Without the advocacy and contributions of Survivors, Sept. 30 would be just another day in the calendar. Survivors led us to this moment on the journey of reconciliation, while they have been on their own personal journeys of healing. See my #NDTR #NDTR2022 statement attached.

Does anyone remember the series of policy roundtables or forums or whatever that Ignatieff (as LPC leader) hosted on Parliament Hill in like 2010? This wasn't the Can150 conference in Montreal, I think it was before that. What were they called? Is Twitter better than Google?

I have voted AGAINST every ABC Vancouver candidate because they accepted the inappropriate police union endorsement. If Lisa Dominato, City Councillor, Rebecca Bligh, City Councillor, Peter Meiszner or Mayor Ken Sim are elected, they will need to recuse themselves on every vote affecting police action. #vanpoli

Hi Toronto. I'm giving a talk about how historic protests against police racism and violence in 1980s Montreal enflamed the racial anxieties of the Far Right and the police brotherhood and resulted in the creation of the city's first street gang squad. Would love to see you.

Hmm, is there anyone else who could pay the reasonable price of a living wage for care and support workers who are essential to education…? The government. The answer is the government.
