Day 53. Kinmel Bay to Liverpool with Holly. Loved cycling #wirralway and crossing the Mersey with Liverpool's skyline Spoke about the importance of animals in supporting people's well-being, the act of caring for something that needs you can keep you going #TandemAgainstSuicide

Days 57 & 58. Through the lakes and up into Scotland for some rest days in Dumfries. Did my first 'talk' of the trip at #thestovedumfries also met some great folk at the @fairydustemporium. Huge thanks to Chris and Katie the days stokers

Days 63, 64 & 65. What a ride. Breakdowns followed by heroics from Andy and #canmoretrust aka John and Isobel. A privilege to meet the wonderful crew of HMS CHARGER for the transfer from #Stranraer to #Campbelltown and then to cycle with Isla. Loving being back in Scotland!

#WorldSuicidePreventionDay Far too many of us have a lived experience, or have been affected by suicide in some way. I bumped into Xani Byrne by chance while getting ready for a sea swim one day - something I do to support my mental health.

Very pleased to be given the opportunity to do this. People often don't speak about bereavement by suicide but it's so important that we do as it can be very isolating.
