CPI inflation data is coming out this Friday. At the All-In conference a few weeks back Cathie Wood gave an interesting presentation where she predicted that medium and long term inflation will surprise on the downside because AI and other complimentary technologies like robotics

The rumor seems to be true - the 20% China Fentanyl-linked tariffs are going to be halved in this latest deal with China. That would bring the Chinese baseline tariffs down to 20% (10% reciprocal plus 10% fentanyl). This is the same rate Vietnam has for comparison.

Very savvy move by South Korea to buy down their tariff rate and establish their country as a new alternative hub for manufacturing.

This isn't getting any media coverage in the west but it's a big deal - 60% of sellers on Amazon-US are Chinese based and the Chinese government is starting to crack down on under-declared earnings. This means the cost structure is effectively changing for the worse for 60% of

You’ll pay a 20% on goods you manufacture in China plus whatever the product specific tariff rate is. That is down from 30% a week ago and 54% in May. Fact sheet for the new agreement at whitehouse.gov/fact-sheets/20…

It’s interesting to see congress is front-running the Supreme Court decision on Trump’s tariffs. Last week, the Senate voted 52–48 to overturn the 50% tariff on Brazilian imports, the one imposed under the Administration’s “national emergency” powers (IEEPA). It's purely a

It really all comes down to this in the Supreme Court case around Trumps tariffs. Are these "emergencies", who gets to decide?

Trump’s attorneys told the Supreme Court that, by their reasoning, a future Democratic president could cite a climate emergency to justify massive tariffs on carmakers, punishing the auto industry in the name of saving the planet.

Wow, market rallying over 1% and some apparel stocks like Stitch Fix up 8% on how badly the Supreme Court case is going for the administration's tariffs argument. Also, all betting markets have odds plummeting.

This is the problem with viewing this Supreme Court case as much more than an academic argument, the White House has many options to get back to the same place on tariffs.

What is the legal interpretation for this tariff announced by Trump on Truth Social?: “Canada was caught, red handed, putting up a fraudulent advertisement in Ronald Reagan's Speech on Tariffs. Because of their serious misrepresentation of the facts, and hostile act, I am
