Had fascinating day at the Imperial War Museums learning about the Holocaust galleries and the curation behind them. Thank you to the Parkes Institute, Claire Le Foll, Tony Kushner and James Bulgin for organising such a brilliant and informative trip.
I’m very grateful to have been awarded the Moss prize tonight by the Parkes Institute for my essay on gender in the Holocaust.
Last month, our MA Holocaust students visited the Holocaust Galleries at the Imperial War Museums, where they received a tour from curator James Bulgin & a talk on curatorial decision-making before having an opportunity to apply these skills writing captions for exhibits.

I’m so excited to be participating in the JHSE New Generation Group conference at Queen Mary’s University. I will be presenting my research on Jewish masculinity and self defence during Russias pogrom wave of 1903-06. Thank you for this great opportunity!
I’m very grateful to be running this conference with the British & Irish Association for Holocaust Studies. I look forward to sharing my research on Fatherhood during the Holocaust and listening to all the interesting topics others are presenting.
