Yesterday I presented a paper on Scottish reading history and how it is represented in #Outlander. Fantastic PGR symposium organised by the PGR interns of Centre for Scottish & Celtic Studies. Thanks for having me and for 2 days of amazing presentations from fellow PGRs. #outlanderscholar
Thoroughly enjoyed (and inspired by) our UHI Centre for History postgrad research gathering today in Dornoch, hosted by Jim MacPherson and featuring the research of @MrCameronHist, Dr Alex Dold, Melanie M McKay, Peter Noble, and many others. Great to bring our outstanding PGR community together.
I have been trying for months to get (affordable) tickets to see Taylor Swift in Edinburgh this weekend but it might be time to admit that it won't happen and go back to #phdlife instead of listening to all her albums.

Really enjoying the #PGconference on the topic of re-reading UofG Modern Languages & Cultures. It was a pleasure to present my paper on the foreshadowing strategies in Diana Gabaldon's Outlander novels yesterday. Continuing today with more interesting papers and meeting inspiring researchers.
