What I like best about Twitter is being lectured about how leftists can never win anything and only the enlightened Dem centrists philosopher kings understand electoral politics by people with “Hillary for America” in their bios.

It makes sense that as Governor Kathy Hochul shills for nuclear right now the livestream features a persistent buzzing on the feed. As if the content weren't annoying enough . . . governor.ny.gov

Statewide resistance to fracked gas pipelines continues to grow in New York. Psyched to have Croton-on-Hudson join the growing chorus of voices. Time to listen up, Governor Kathy Hochul! theexaminernews.com/regional-oppos…

If you’re psyched tonight and haven’t joined DSA yet, you should. It’s the single most hopeful thing in the political world and has been for a while.

Brad Lander is what we call a real mensch. He could’ve punched left and portrayed Zohran as an antisemite. Many others would have. He didn’t. Instead, he stood side by side with Zohran and never took the bait. I’m a huge fan.

In the words of Nelson Mandela: it always seems impossible until it’s done. My friends, it is done. And you are the ones who did it. I am honored to be your Democratic nominee for the Mayor of New York City.

Most of the Dems freaking out over Zohran Kwame Mamdani & the optics of him being NYC mayor are the same people who supported Andrew Cuomo. They looked around a city of more than 8m people and said, “you know what, let’s nominate the guy who was run out of office 4 years ago.” GTFOH.

Jerry Nadler is the most senior Jewish member of the House of Representatives. He just endorsed Zohran Mamdani for mayor. His endorsement was enthusiastic, too—not half-hearted. Nadler calls Zohran’s victory a “seismic election that I can only compare to Barack Obama in 2008.”

They decided to put Perk on ESPN and Stephen A on ABC tonight. This way we’re all forced to listen to one of the two must insufferable voices in the basketball world.

It's pretty awesome to see the fight against the Astoria fracked gas plant highlighted here. We were a huge part of that fight and Zohran and Schumer's stalwart opposition to the plant was key to stopping it.

I'm often critical of centrist Dems, but one very positive development is their relatively new focus on banning cell phones in schools. It's a winning issue and genuinely good policy.
