Day 9. It's like a bank holiday in the Solent - pouring down with rain! We had 40kt squalls last night and Guy fell out of bed.

Day 14 2 weeks done and 530 miles to go. Regards sea state, we have 18kts wind and about 2m waves. Some slamming but generally ok.

Day 15 Still slogging upwind. 330 miles to Las Palmas for fuel. All good onboard, just need a few hours respite from the slamming.

Day 16 A few ships around and El Hierro 40 miles away. Wind eased to 18 but still upwind. ETA Las Palmas tomorrow morning
